We are Jort and Inke, the proud owners of Camping La Luna! Our mission is to share our happiness by creating a place where our guests, ourselves, and the local community can all enjoy each moment in a sustainably way. We offer a space where you can indulge in local food and drinks, and partake in a variety of physical activities. It's a place to relax, expand your horizons both literally and figuratively.

We both hail from Breda (The Netherlands) and are true lovers of good food and wine. Jort previously owned a successful handyman business in the Netherlands and is full of boundless energy. Inke brings a hospitality background from a prestigious hotel school and has spent the last 15 years as a marketing and sales director, with a passion for cooking. Together, our energy, skills, and experience ensure that our guests receive a warm welcome and have an unforgettable holiday experience.

During the winter of 2022/2023, after a 4.5-month journey, we realized our shared dream of starting a campsite. A campsite encapsulates all our passions, talents, and experiences. Longing for the sun, we set our sights on finding a campground in Italy. After numerous visits, we decided to explore the Le Marche region and ended up booking at a campground owned by the Dutch - Camping Faranghe. Upon arrival, we discovered that this campground was up for sale. We instantly fell in love with the place and dove into the process of making it ours.

Despite facing challenges from banks due to our limited time in Italy (less than 24 months), we launched a crowdfunding campaign. Within two months, we reached our fundraising goal, and on April 4, 2024, we became the proud owners! Formerly known as Camping La Luna, the site was rebranded to Camping & Countryhouse Faranghe!

We have a fondness for delicious food and particularly enjoy preparing Italian dishes, especially those traditional to the region. Several times a week, we cook for our guests and host a weekly pizza night where guests can learn to make their pizzas. This way, you can savor the tastes of your holiday when you return home. Feel free to ask us for recommendations on local spots where you can sample and purchase regional wines, sausages, and olive oil.
